If you eat fish, like salmon and tuna it prevent a devastating eye disease, the age-related muscular degeneration. This is the main cause behind blindness of people.

This research was done on almost 3,000 people by questioning then about their general diet. Then for over eight years the condition was monitored.

The result of this research shows that this disease was 25 per cent less likely among those people who took a diet rich in omega 3 fatty acids.
